In July 2022, my story ‘The Gypsy Gambler’ was chosen by the novelist Sarah Hall to be included in the Fish Publishing Anthology 2022
My story ‘The Sawmillers’ was chosen for the 39th edition of New Writing Scotland (Glasgow University) in 2021, editors Rachelle Atalla and Marjorie Lotfi.
During Lockdown, that infamous time when the mental health of so many young people was undermined, apparently to save the lives of people my age who have already had good lives, there was a competition to provide 100 words summing up our experience of the pandemic. ‘Launchpad’ was my contribution. A book was published when the pandemic concluded.
